KUNLE ADEGUN

CEO NextGen Energy

Mr. Kunle Adegun is a Corporate Solicitor with 32yrs+ experience in the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream business of the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry having worked with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited where he left as Head Commercial . His areas of expertise include Contract Negotiations, Drafting and Vetting of Commercial Agreements, Project Negotiations and Financing, Corporate Governance and Board Secretariat Practice.

A Team player with excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, persuasive, managerial, and leadership skills and his Hobbies include Reading, Lawn Tennis, and meeting people.

Mr. Kunle Adegun is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife and the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN), Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), International Bar Association (IBA), Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria Gas Association (NGA), and Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN).

He is happily married with three kids.
